Payroll Specialist

  • Process payroll for employees in the organization
  • Maintain personnel database regarding salaries
  • Report to department supervisor regarding daily activities and issues
  • Address and resolve employee complaints relating to the payroll system
  • Work with company database programs to process payroll
  • Prepare reports to relevant departments about payroll and expense
  • Invoicing, review & follow up payment status
  • Accounts Payable Cycle: review bills and prepare check-runs and mailings
  • Assist in processing employee payrolls Journal Entries input
  • Bank reconciliation Assist in Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly end closing
  • Managing state payroll tax returns compliance and other misc tax filings 1099 recording & processing Additional tasks based on organization needs
  • Manage organization budget and expenses
  • Experience in Quick books & MS office is a plus
