Consultant skills – Must Have/Primary Skills:

Required skills:

• Experience with Cisco EVPN VXLAN and Cisco Data Center Network Manager (DCNM)
• Knowledge of IGMP, PIM and multicast routing
• Understanding of Python scripting and Ansible and how it works through Cisco DCNM Nexus 9k
• Strong knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies
• Extensive routing protocol knowledge – OSPF, BGP AND EIGRP
• Experience working in a large enterprise environment
• Experience designing, building, testing and deploying large-scale network solutions
• Optimizing network performance
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)

Daily activities:

• Partnering with internal stake holders to develop technical solutions to meet business objectives.
• Gather requirements, analyze alternatives, recommend, document and effectively communicate highly technical solutions.
• Designing and implementing complex enterprise network environments
• Define, documenting, and enforcing network standards

Nice to Have Skills:

CCNP/CCIE is a plus

JIRA, confluence, Tableau, ticketing Remedy

Financial industry experience a plus

Automation / Orchestration experience in a networked environment is a plus
