Ariba helpline support specialist
- Proven experience as a helpdesk technician or other customer support role.
- Tech savvy with good understanding of computer systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with the SAP Ariba cloud based platform.
- Experience with the procurement process and/or purchasing systems.
- BA/BS in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Customer has recently replaced its purchasing system with the SAP Ariba cloud platform. The Helpline Support Specialist is responsible for providing users with support and technical assistance for this new Ariba cloud platform, primarily via phone.
Primary responsibilities include:
· Serve as the first point of contact for Ariba users seeking technical assistance.
· Ask questions to determine nature of problem.
· Walk users through the problem-solving process.
· Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by users.
· Record calls and their resolutions in the ticketing system.
· Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
· Follow up and update user status and information.
