Junior Project Manager

Junior Project Manager will act as a liaison and central point of contact for multiple projects to ensure timely execution of specific time sensitive projects. The Junior Project Manager will monitor cost, schedule, and scope variances for all projects, and will report on program and project metrics to senior leadership and executive management. He/she will drive the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and ongoing support of specific projects ensuring consistency with both short-term and long-term company strategies, commitments and goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Competencies and Attributes:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage projects with limited oversight, using standard project management methodologies
  • Experience with managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Strong ability to partner and work in a collaborative team environment
  • Working knowledge of project management framework and processes (such as risk management, schedule development and tracking, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of collaboration and project management tools
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint
