Description:
  • Monitor AP process and ensure all supporting documents have been received to ensure prompt payment
  • Research and communicate with Carriers, Shippers, Suppliers and employees regarding status of payment as necessary
  • Identify, size, prioritize, and pursue opportunities to improve our payment process in collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Sales and Accounting
  • Work cross-functionally to identify, replicate, size, and resolve payments related issues
  • Lead in building documentation and workflow instruction
  • Maintain accurate (electronic) AP records to ensure compliance with company policies
  • Contribute to invoice posting & payment runs
  • Research discrepancies as they are received from Carriers
  • Ensure billing, invoicing and settlement are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Validate Price Confirmations, receipts, and invoices for accuracy
  • Monitor Loads daily to be sure all have been closed and closed correctly
 
Skills: Bachelor’s Degree: Business or Communications preferred
  • Critical thinking, deductive reasoning, and project management skills. You’re easily able to break a problem down into its constituent parts to identify the best solution path
