The level 3 Technical Support technician is responsible for support, troubleshooting and installation of IT infrastructure equipment.  This can consist of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, servers, and networking equipment in the environment. Requires experience working directly with customers and other support personnel.  Responsible for local coordination, installation and ongoing support of various Manufacturing and Administrative computer systems. Very strong knowledge of Cisco Networking and Windows environment is required.
Candidate should be knowledgeable of the following:
  • Cisco Layer 2 Switching & Layer 3 Routing
  • Cisco Enterprise Management & Wireless Networks
  • Cisco Unity PBX Administration
  • IT Cabling Infrastructure Planning & Design for Fiber & Copper Networks

Suppliers, please take note of the following information regarding the TMMI shift expectations.
All L2 and L3 contractors are expected to work shifts on a monthly rotation.  (Example: Jan=Shift 1, Feb=Shift 4, Mar=Shift 5, Apr=Shift 1)
Contractors will rotate monthly, and will likely be working Shifts 1,4 & 5 as seen below:  
Shift details update. Candidates could be working any of the below-listed shifts:
24x5 shift support
Shift 1: 5:30am - 2:15pm
Shift 4: 1:30pm - 10:15pm
Shift 5: 9:30pm - 6:15am

Please ensure that all submitted candidates are properly informed of the above shift rotation requirements. 
  • Candidate will be required to oversee and assist installation & configuration of LAN, Telco and A/V infrastructure.
  • Responsibility also includes break/fix for plant floor equipment.
  • Candidate should be able to work under pressure. 
  • Repair and/or replacement of critical plant floor equipment require a 15-minute turnaround time.
  • Strong project management skills a plus. 
  • Requires the ability to create and manage project activity.
  • Ability to take direction as well as being a “self-starter”.
  • Candidate will work directly with Plant Floor and Administrative Staff to identify issues and develop/implement countermeasures.   
  • 24 hour on-call coverage required to support multiple manufacturing shifts.
  • CCNA Wireless and CCNA Routing and Switching certifications are plus.
